As said by the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), PetroChina Daqing Oilfield, a subsidiary of PetroChina, produced 40 million tonnes of crude oil in 2012.

40 million tonnes of crude oil is consecutively produced for ten years, as per the the CNPC, the parent of public-listed PetroChina.

50 million tonnes was was outperformed by oil field, but output shrank due to harder operations in oil exploitation, according to the CNPC, the country's largest oil producer and supplier.

Annual crude oil production of 40 million tonnes will be produced by oil field during which the 12th Five-year Plan period (2011-2015) was going on.

3.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas was also produced along with 55.35 million tonnes of proven oil reserves in 2012 by Daqing, located in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

450 million tonnes of crude oil in 2011 was consumed by china and 250 million tonnes of which were imported, and both the oil consumption and the oil import ratio will continue to rise, according to the CNPC.
